Wound and dressing care
Surgical wounds, pressure sores, venous ulcers, burns, diabetic foot wounds.
Who it is for
People recovering after surgery, healing slowly, or living with a chronic wound.
How we work
- We follow the protocol prescribed by the doctor and adapt materials as the wound evolves.
- With your consent, photographic follow-up can document healing for the prescriber.
- We alert your GP as soon as a local or general sign falls outside what was expected.
- Frequency, timing and duration follow the prescription: we agree them with you at the first visit.
Common questions about this care
- Do I need a prescription for wound care at home?
- Yes. Dressings are prescribed care: the doctor's or surgeon's prescription sets the protocol and the frequency. Bring it at the first call, a photo is enough.
- How often do you come?
- The rhythm follows the prescription and the state of the wound: sometimes daily, sometimes two or three times a week. We agree a time with you and keep to it.
- Who supplies the dressing materials?
- The pharmacy dispenses them on the same prescription. We tell you exactly what to collect so you do not make the trip twice.
